Octogen is building the next generation of search and discovery technology for e-commerce. Our first product, Cosimo, reimagines how people shop online by combining editorial curation with intelligent search.
We're a small team that obsesses over craft and detail. As our first design hire, you'll shape the entire brand and product experience and establish design foundations that will scale with our company.
Role
As our Product Designer, you'll own the end-to-end design of Cosimo. You'll work closely with engineers and our product team to create intuitive, beautiful experiences that make product discovery feel effortless.
This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You'll define information architecture, design interactions, create visual systems, and ship polished interfaces across web and mobile. You'll also help shape product direction through user research and rapid prototyping.
Responsibilities
- Design core product experiences for search, discovery, and shopping across web and mobile platforms
- Establish and evolve our design system, visual language, and brand identity
- Conduct user research and testing to validate design decisions and inform product strategy
- Collaborate closely with engineering to ship high-quality experiences quickly
